Who was your Doctor? I have a friend going through the exact same thing, for 4 years now, by a Doctor in Corpus Christi, TX named Max Gouverne.

He ruined her eyes and her neck. She has already spent $45,000, trying to correct the mess he made, and she still has a long way to go.

Post his name. People need to know who he is so they will not be injured, also.

She has saved many people from going to him.

He would not refund 1 cent of her money to her. At least she has cost him many thousands in lost patients.

Scars from Lifestyle Lifts

I had the surgery in St. Louis, Mo about 8 years ago. I have horrible scars on my face in front of my ears. I can't wear my hair behind my ears because of the scars showing. I like a fool never did anything about it.. They totally lied about the results. The "sales woman" showed me behind her ears where it couldn't be seen a tiny of tiniest possible scar. There was nothing about the front of my ears. I am so upset by this. you to make yourself look better and come out with terrible scars on your face. I don't know if they can even be fixed !!!

THIS DOCTOR WAS AWFUL !!!

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a very negative environment that originated with the doctor (John Rachel M.D.). Initially, the consultant you meet with talks a rosy picture about how happy you'll be with the outcome and does not give details about what a person can really expect regarding both short & long term recuperation. The office staff are prone to gossip, whispers and judging clients. This doctor doesn't know that on the day I had my procedure I could hear him talking to his assistant, even though I was sedated with swollen shut eyes, lips and throat. I heard him talk negatively about a woman (patient?) and continue to talk about how he judges his patients by how cooperative they are while enduring these brutal procedures. At one point I tried to tell the doctor through swollen lips that I couldn't breathe and felt like I wasn't getting enough air. He said, "I can't understand you." and proceeded without pause. I found him cold and lacking compassion. Forget about positive feedback. Following my procedure, my husband was in shock and didn't recognize me. I was whisked out a back door with my head wrapped like a mummy so no other potential patients could see me post procedure. I'm suspect all patients are treated this way. My face was so swollen I had to sleep upright for a week in order to breathe. I asked on multiple occasions how long the numbness would last in various places on my face. At first I was told 3 months, then 3-6 mos., then as long as 9 mos., then the doctor told me it was not unusual that I still had numbness or lack of feeling after one year. In other words they lie. I had many followup visits for a complication from the procedure ( i didn't expect) where the doctor seemed un-phased by the pain he was inflicting. I eventually went to another cosmetic surgeon who did more to heal the affected area in 2 weeks than nearly a year of returning to Dr. Rachel for followup. I found this doctor to be touchy and easily offended to some things I said to him. I truly believe he doesn't like women and may even be 'burned out' in the type of work he does because he is so robotic with lack of expression. These procedures change women's lives, hopefully for the better where they wish to feel good about themselves with an enhanced self-image and self esteem. This doctor did not support or reinforce that with his manner, behavior, or attitude. I DID NOT have the option of meeting Dr. Rachel before my procedure as I believe my decision would have been different. Also, I can see why they require having procedures completely paid for up front as they may not get payment once a patient finds what they've had to endure. I cannot in good conscience recommend this doctor for cosmetic surgery if you want someone who CARES about your pain and recovery.

Lifestyle Lift - Procedure Review from Omaha, Nebraska

Save your money and have a real facelift! My left ear is disfigured as a result of a rushed procedure. I didn't notice any real change to my drooping jowls, and was told by my Dr that i now need filler. What a waste of $8,000!!

I was viewed by a consulant, she told me how they where going to do the eye lift ,chin lift and face. They pushed I get it done as soon as possible.

I meet the doc the day of surgery. I was given high doses of seditives the night before and the day of ,I could respond if they spoke to me or I felt any pain I was in surgery about 2 hours. I had a lot of pain and swelling and brusining of face and eye's. I had a lot of pain and was very sick for a few days following surgery.

I was told to wear a head wrap to keep chin up and to keep neck lift taunt until healed. I was swollen for about 5 weeks, When I went in for a recheck It looked good as the doc said. He then advised me I need injections to my forehead and upper lip. They cut behind my ears, which now my ear lobs are deformed. They cut into my hair line and on the back of my head and behind my ears.. My head itches constantly.I can not wear my hair up due to the scars on the back my head.I still have a stitch on left eye that never dissolved, and one to the forehead on hair line.

My forehead still has lines,my eye lids still drope, my ear lobes are deformed and there is still a few lines on face.I was told I needed injections to the forehead and my upper lip. Every time I would make an appointment they would cancel, due to supplies for the injections were not available.

I am still unhappy with this lift. They charged me 14,000.00.

Lfestyle lift gone wrong.

I had my Lifestyle lift in May of 2014, I had my neck and my eye lids done. I have had problems and can't seem to get any answers. So I went to my family physician she sent me to a dermotolish /surgeon. I have no feeling in my face large scaring behind my ears and no earlobes, the itching and burning of the scares are unbearable, I have scratch myself in my sleep to the point of bleeding because of the nerve damage. It cost me $3000.00 down plus the care credit plus the lifestyle lift credit card. This was my chance to feel better about myself but instead of looking yrs. younger I'm in disconfort all the time.

I am 64. I wanted to have a "lifestyle lift" for the past 10 years because it sounded to me like it was more than stretching skin over tissue. When I went in to have the interview, finally, I told them that I have a genetic predisposition to ptosis (drooping upper eyelid) and I wanted that tightened and wanted a forehead lift, as I look like a grouch, and I am not ( it's from squinting in the sun, even though I wear sunglasses). I was assured that the eyes and brow wrinkle would be taken care of with their method. Not so, even my neck tightening was lopsided. When they took the before and after shots they looked very nearly the same. Plus the recovery time was long and I looked like I had been hit by a truck. I saw the surgeon twice and he was not about to do anything about it. When I began to try and contact The Corporate office, I discovered that they were going out of business. < sighs> If anyone is doing a class action suit so that I can recover some of my money, I would be glad to join in: msmariellemartt@***.com.

Botched surgery

I was charged $12,500,00 for a face lift by lifestyle lift in February 2014. I paid $8,000.00 down and was told the remainder would be financed through Care Credit. It was financed through a company called Healthcare Financial direct. I've paid them over a thousand dollars in monthly payments and they refuse to send a statement of my account. Lifestyle lift botched the surgery twice. They didn't want to complete the work. I notified Monet at Healthcare Financial Credit, then they call and asked me to come back to complete the job. I had seen a doctor in Gainesville, Georgia and was given an estimate for what it would cost to correct Lifestyles mistakes ($9,900.00). One week after being rescheduled, I received an email from the Lifestyle doctor they had been closed down and if she ever opened another practice, she'd finish the work. The doctor has vanished and I can't contact her, Lifestyle lift's Main office or the founder/owner. Healthcare Financial Direct insist I pay for something I've yet to receive. The operation performed by Lifestyle left me with nerve damage in my face, chin and below. I also still have pain in my chin and around the incisions around my ears. I have all correspondence between me, the Lifestyle lift doctor, Monet at Healthcare Finance Direct, and the doctor in Gainesville who pointed out the errors they made. I need legal assistance. Can you help me or guide me to someone who will? Thank you, John Alexander

Dr. Feelgood knows what's necessary about a situation he knows nothing about.

I can afford an attorney, but finding one is different. Who said anything about pro bono? Who appointed you the judge of the world? You're going to educate me on how people live and what they and I are entitled to?

I pay my way and it's none of your business little know it all.

No need to respond. you're a joke.

Guest

Wait a minute. You can afford to lay out 8 grand for an unnecessary surgery on your face, but can't afford an attorney, and now you're looking for some pro bono representation? Wow, some people in this world live on top ramen and goodwill clothing - some people blow their cash on facelift surgery.....

Dear Dr. Feelgood

Wait a minuet.

What can be afforded or not or a surgery considered by you as unnecessary or not is not your call. As for top ramen and goodwill clothing, expand your brain by trying to feed the world or stopping heads from being chopped off by terrorist! Are is that what you believe in?

If not, you should have no comment about something that has not happened to you! Then it would of course be different, wouldn't?

Guest

You must work for them already. Have you ever looked up complaints against Lifestyle Lift?

Can you answer my previous questions? How do you contact their main office? You can't. They don't need to hire anymore liars.

They've already been exposed and sued in other states. Ask your doctor why they were force to close their doors in Atlanta.

Guest

You should be a spokes person for their Atlanta Office, but they've been shut down. Do you know why?

Do you know why there are so many customers here left hanging? Did you know Lifestyle lift is filing for bankruptcy? Can you contact there main headquarters?

Tell me how to contact their main headquarters. You can't.

Guest

I am guessing you went to the wrong doctor. I am in California and I had amazing wonder professional people and my face looks amazing. In Face, I was just looking them up to find out how I can be a representative for them!

I had a life style lift about 7 years ago. I now have an exposed stitch in front of my ear. I don't know what to do , has anyone else had this problem? I am so afraid if I pull it that side of my face my sag. I did give it a little tug to see if it was attached to anything and it is. I don't want to go back to the plastic surgeon he is quite a distance from where I am living.I have a funny feeling another DR. won't want to take responsibility for removing it

I had a stitch protruding also when I had my *** done and it hurt because i would lean on it at night when sleeping I went to the doctor and he pulled it off. After that everything was fine.

The reason it seemed attached is because the skin had grown on it.

I'm not telling you to pull it off I'm saying go back to the clinic or just go to the hospital and tell them it's hurting you and I'm sure they'll take it off. He probably just has the skin grown on it

Lifestyle Lift - Plastic Surgery Review from Santa Ana, California

Lifestyle lift. Absolutely no visable results. A promise to redo the surg. Also redo was reviewed and approved by board of directers. I was promised a new procedure if i pay for surgical supplies. 700.00. Now lifestyle seems not to exsist. I would love to be a part of a class action against them.

If there is a class action suit I would like to be a part of it! I am still paying on my Lifestyle lift because I was approved for their financing & they say I still have to make my payments!

I had my Lifestyle lift done in Oklahoma City paid over $6000. & I still have a lot of wrinkles & you can't tell I had one! The Dr. was nice & said in the fall I would need a all over laser done on my face then they closed down.

Very disappointed! Was so excited to have this done..my skin was tight for a couple of months but I think it was just due to swelling. You can't tell I've had anything done now it's been a year! I did everything I was supposed to do.

It pains me to make that monthly payment every month.

I feel I have been taken advantage of. HELP!!!

Refusal to return deposits ( $1000)

made an appointment to have a lift done on my girlfriend GF had second thoughts and called to postpone procedure. In addition getting financing with Lifestyle they said that I had to come up with a larger down payment. This was fine with me and GF because I would have additional funds in 6-8 months. I was involved in an auto accident and was out of work for 6+ months. In need of money for living expences, I called for a refund of the $1000 in cash that I made at time of first interview. Was told that only GF could request refund. GF went to the Rochester office and found it closed numerous times. GF then called corporate phone number and was told that someone from the local office would arrange a return of the deposit monies. Never heard back from local or corporate office. About a month or so back went to local office and found that it had been closed with out explanation. Is there anyone out there who can help in getting this deposit returned or are we out all this money?

Deposit was never returned

I went to the Lifestyle Lift in St Louis MO in 2011. I put down a $400 deposit. They said if I put down a deposit, that I was guaranteed to get the procedure at the price that they quoted me. I changed my mind after reading a lot of reviews. I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Now they are out of business. I called many times .If ever there is a class action lawsuit, please let me know, I would like to be part of it. I called many times, but to no avail. I do not know what to do next

Lifestyle facelifts stink

It has been 1 1/2 years since my $11,000 facelift. I look more tired than before. I was left with a sweaty fold in my neck, a rope on one side, major baggage under my eyes, and a crooked mouth. There is absolutely no way that I would recommend Lifestyle facelift to even my worst enemy. This company's advertising is deceptive. They ought to be ashamed of ruining people's faces and necks, then charging them an outrageous fee for doing so! I walked in innocent, but left embarrassed. The office people were very professional and great sales persons, convincing me (and others) that this was the perfect answer. I'm sorry, very sorry that I ever heard of Lifestyle and will guarantee the company that I will not recommend them to anyone!
